If I didn't know better I would think you were trying to get me naked.

[What? It's a good point. But he does let Bobby do it, because he knows if he leans over he'll fall.]

[Bobby goes red at that, sputtering a little.]

I uh...wha...no!

[Clearing his throat, Bobby finishes getting David's shoes off.]

I'm really not trying to take advantage of someone who's drunk. But...you probably would be more comfortable without your pants on...

I do know better, Bobby.

[There's a light chuckle in his voice, but he nods his agreement to the pants thing. Which of course means him unbuttoning them and working on trying to squirm out of them on his own.]

[Bobby frowns but still moves to help David by tugging his pants. He's trying not to look but can't help but sneak some peeks at David's underwear choice and how he looks in them.]

Need anything else?

[They're boring because David is boring. Black boxer briefs that fight tight against his skin. Tight enough to take some things out of the realm of the imagination.]

Water. Aspirin. A blanket?

[Bobby wouldn't call any of it boring. He's going to keep that mental image for later. Standing, Bobby drapes David's pants over the back of his desk chair.]

Well you're laying on the blanket. I can go get the other stuff though.

You're a good friend, Bobby.

[Blankets. Right. It takes some more squirming, but soon David's under the blankets. he'll feel bad about taking over Bobby's bed later. And he will feel bad.]

[iceman_begins]

I know. Coolest friend ever.

[Bobby takes a bow. He waits to make sure David is comfortable before offering a grin.]

Be right back.

[He slips out of the room. After a few minutes he returns with a bottle of water and one of aspirin.]

Still awake?

Should throw the pillow at you.

[Listen, David is not the biggest fan of puns. Even though, you know, he's a master of them. Because of course he is. He does nod off once Bobby is gone, though, waking only when the other mutant speaks up.]

Blessing on your heads. Both of them.

Both?

[Bobby's a little confused but he moves to set both bottles down on the nightstand. Nodding, steps over to his open closet and pulls his sleeping bag off a shelf. Dropping it on the floor, Bobby glances David's way before starting to strip down to just his boxers.]

Lemme know if you need anything else, dude.

[Doubled vision, man. But he does take the aspirin and water. Then he reaches out for Bobby. This is stupid.]

Bed.

[iceman_begins]

[Bobby blinks a few times, looking up from unzipping his sleeping bag.]

What?

[helpdesk_hero]

Get up here. Your bed.

[He will share the space, right? It's fair.]

[iceman_begins]

Are you sure?

[Bobby isn't sure its the best idea but he also doesn't want to sleep on the floor. Its not the same as camping.]

Scoot over a bit?

[No point in talking about it. No point in confirming verbally because he can just scoot over to confirm. Even rolls over so Bobby can be at his back.]

[Bobby climbs into bed with David, turning so they're back to back. He's very aware of the fact that they're both in their underwear, Bobby's boxers a snowflake print pair. He tugs the blanket over them both, trying to raise his temperature a little so he's not so cool to the touch.]

Night, David.

Night Bobby.

[It is a bit cold, but that doesn't drive David out of his bed. The guy is actually asleep before Bobby even gets a chance to settle. And he sleeps quite easily through the night. David doesn't move much in his sleep. Which means he's still there in the morning, still on his side, groaning at the pain in his head.]

[Bobby drifts off eventually, moving a bit more. Thankfully most of his movement takes the form of pushing the blankets off himself and half-hanging off the bed. Its the sound of the groaning that wakes him in the morning. He pushes up slowly, running a hand through his hair as he turns over to look at the other person in his bed.]

Huh? Wha...David?

[The voice is enough to get David to flinch. Because what the HELL is someone doing in his bed? What is Bobby doing in his bed? He jerks aside, and ends up falling off the bed. Which normally wouldn't be possible because his bed was against a wall. Oh dear. Not his bed.]

Ow.

[iceman_begins]

[Bobby winces as David falls off the bed, the blankets going with him. He moves to sit up, offering a hand down to David.]

You alright? Need an ice pack?

Don't think ice packs work on bruised dignity. So, any explanation for this?

[Listen, he was sorta really tipsy last night and he doesn't want to think about it too much. He's going to take the fact that he's still wearing SOMETHING as a good sign. Also going to take Bobby's hand so the guy can haul him to his feet.]

No, you need a mental band-aid for that.

[He jokes to try to lighten the mood. When his hand is accepted, Bobby helps pull David back towards the bed. He pats the spot next to him, figuring its better to sit with a hangover.]

You don't remember coming by and sweeping me off my feet last night?

[He couldn't pass up the chance to joke. He only lets it linger a few moments before holding up a hand.]

You got into tequila last night. I was your knight in frosty armor and you crashed with me for the night.

[Sweeping off his feet? David flushes a little at the statement. On him it's a more of a darkening of skin. The fact that he reacts that way has to say that he may, on some level, find the situation possible. He is about ready to apologize until Bobby lets it drop.]

I don't know... Less frosty armor and more frosty boxers. Really? Isn't that a little on point?

[Bobby smiles a little to himself when he notices David's reaction. He frowns when his boxers are mentioned.]

Hey, what's wrong with my underwear? I thought they looked good. And I had more clothes when I came to get you!

I have nothing to say about your current state of dress. Just your taste. Icy and beach motifs both seem a bit... too on the nose or too snarky. But that's definitely not my place to say.

[He does start looking for his clothes though.]
