[Bobby blushes a little but still smiles. Showing off skin was unintentional but the pose he strikes to show off a little is entirely on purpose.]
You said you were worried about people thinking you're boring and predictable...
[He shrugs.]
I don't think it and if you want to try to figure out some ways to give that impression off less, I'm game. Don't have to worry about setting an example or anything around me.
I think salvaging a reputation when someone has probably helped you undress and let you sleep in his bed isn't possible. So I'm obligated to take you in as a coconspirator in this.
[But he's got his clothes on now and he offers a brief smile to Bobby. And catches the pose. Which has him quietly looking away again. Listen, he's still coming to terms with his own sexuality and being this close to someone like Bobby is definitely putting that a bit more forward in his brain.]
To be fair I just took your shoes and pants off so you'd be comfortable. Not much damage to your rep.
[Bobby's not a phased by his own state of undress. He's used to running around in public in tiny shorts or briefs as his only clothes. When he finishes his little pose, Bobby looks around for a clean pair of pants for himself.]
You remember? Sure! I can set the rink up today if you're still up for it. Shouldn't take me long to work my magic.
I used to love it as a kid. Would go to rinks when my parents let me. Dad wanted me to play hockey. I more thought figure skating. I grew too big for that quickly.
[Mischief. Uh oh. That was never good in this place.]
That may not be the best plan, but after last night I am listening.
You still could figure skate? I think you could definitely rock one of those sequin-filled outfits.
[Pulling on some lounge pants, Bobby hops towards his window.]
Well, I make a quick fireman pole or a slide from my window to the ground. You have a sneaky-fun way out and then the ice goes away and no one knows you were here so only half a walk of shame.
You are showing me a move or two when we hit the ice.
[He gives a snort, opening his window.]
This is about your rep, not mine. Mine is pre-doomed, remember?
[He looks outside and cracks his knuckles before letting loose with the frozen beams. Soon enough there's a spiral slide right from the window down to the grass.]
Figured you wouldn't want to be seen wandering out of my room since it wouldn't set a good example or anything.
You'll have so much trouble resisting me if you see how flexible I am.
[That earns a smirk from David because, well, that's just what he is and what he does. But he hardly thinks Bobby's reputation is doomed. He laughs.]
Given how early it is, it's entirely likely that the gates aren't open yet. And if they aren't and I'm on campus, people will know I was with someone overnight. I just don't think I want them assuming it's you. My chance to set a good example is already gone.
[He smiles and offers a brief wave to Bobby. Then he's clambering out of the window.]
[Bobby leans out the window to watch David slide, both to admire his handiwork and make sure David stays safe. He waves when David reaches the bottom and then places his hand on the slide. A little concentrating and the whole construct starts cracking and falling apart, melting more easily in chunks. Once he's done with slide disposal, Bobby slips back inside to gather clothes and head to get showered.
Hours later, Bobby can be found down by the lake like he said. Dressed in jeans, a longer sleeved shirt, and a t-shirt over it with a picture of an iceberg and the text 'Just the Tip' on it, he's in his ice form. There's a chill in the air too and the reason why would be the big ice constructs he's working on. He's frozen a pretty large area of the lake and anchored the ice with a few pillars and is currently in the process of forming a half-dome to keep anyone from skating off the edge of the makeshift rink. He's humming as he works, 'Call me maybe' by the sound of it. Because Bobby is a dork.]
[David's definitely not broken out jeans and a sweater in this warm part of the year before, but he's pleased to be here anyway. Smiles as he walks toward the growing ice construction, and he chuckles when he catches the sound of Bobby humming.]
[Glancing over his shoulder, Bobby flashes a grin David's way. He stops using his powers with one hand long enough to wave before getting back to letting those frosty beams of energy fly.]
Someone was playing it on that dance video game a little while ago. Been stuck in my head since.
So, new rule. Megan doesn't get to listen to her pop around impressionable minds like yours.
[He has to hang back at the edge of the ice for now, not risking stepping out onto it. Not that he minds. He misses the ice enough to be patient in getting a chance at it now.]

I feel like I mentioned something about skating.

Should probably go try and do my walk of shame now. And hopefully avoid people drawing conclusions.

16/4/19 02:48 (UTC)[He hums to himself, gathering some clothes from the floor. When David mentions a walk of shame, Bobby offers a mischievous smile.]
If you want to avoid coming out of my room, I've got an idea. Ever want to be a fireman? Or see one of those spiral slides?

Depends on the speed of the melt. But at least I can spare your reputation this way.

18/4/19 02:49 (UTC)[He does a little finger-wiggle and laughs.]
Like there's no one here that knows how to sneak in and out.
[Bobby adds a quick hand rail to the slide for David. He stays close to the window to provide some extra support while David gets on that slide.]
Sure, I'll meet you down by the boathouse? I should have everything ready by then.

18/4/19 02:59 (UTC)[He smiles as he puts one foot very lightly on the ice, not enough pressure to slide yet.]
Thanks. It means a lot to me.

19/4/19 23:07 (UTC)[Bobby watches David, ready to help if he needs to. He ends up flashing a goofy grin though.]
Hey, don't worry about it. I aim to please.
Skating too or no?
20/4/19 03:13 (UTC)[He offers brief wave before getting fully onto the slide and slipping down it easily to the ground. He is definitely graceful.]
Sure, let's get some in

You can step on the ice if you want. That part's solid already. Just finishing up the safety dome.

23/4/19 23:20 (UTC)And I'm more concerned about slipping, falling on my ass, and looking even more ridiculous in your eyes than I did last night.

Ta da!
[He turns back to his flesh and blood form as he turns to face David, flashing his usual goofy grin.]
All ready for some skating. Should last the whole day too.

24/4/19 15:25 (UTC)[He does smile and stand once more, to look at Bobby.]
By all means, help a brother out so he can show off some moves before everyone else notices your work.

24/4/19 18:00 (UTC)[It makes sense to him. When David asks for help, Bobby offers a hand.]
Come here then and lift a foot. Only take me a few seconds to whip up some Iceman-special skates.
