[Bobby climbs into bed with David, turning so they're back to back. He's very aware of the fact that they're both in their underwear, Bobby's boxers a snowflake print pair. He tugs the blanket over them both, trying to raise his temperature a little so he's not so cool to the touch.]
[It is a bit cold, but that doesn't drive David out of his bed. The guy is actually asleep before Bobby even gets a chance to settle. And he sleeps quite easily through the night. David doesn't move much in his sleep. Which means he's still there in the morning, still on his side, groaning at the pain in his head.]
[Bobby drifts off eventually, moving a bit more. Thankfully most of his movement takes the form of pushing the blankets off himself and half-hanging off the bed. Its the sound of the groaning that wakes him in the morning. He pushes up slowly, running a hand through his hair as he turns over to look at the other person in his bed.]
[The voice is enough to get David to flinch. Because what the HELL is someone doing in his bed? What is Bobby doing in his bed? He jerks aside, and ends up falling off the bed. Which normally wouldn't be possible because his bed was against a wall. Oh dear. Not his bed.]
Don't think ice packs work on bruised dignity. So, any explanation for this?
[Listen, he was sorta really tipsy last night and he doesn't want to think about it too much. He's going to take the fact that he's still wearing SOMETHING as a good sign. Also going to take Bobby's hand so the guy can haul him to his feet.]
[He jokes to try to lighten the mood. When his hand is accepted, Bobby helps pull David back towards the bed. He pats the spot next to him, figuring its better to sit with a hangover.]
You don't remember coming by and sweeping me off my feet last night?
[He couldn't pass up the chance to joke. He only lets it linger a few moments before holding up a hand.]
You got into tequila last night. I was your knight in frosty armor and you crashed with me for the night.
[Sweeping off his feet? David flushes a little at the statement. On him it's a more of a darkening of skin. The fact that he reacts that way has to say that he may, on some level, find the situation possible. He is about ready to apologize until Bobby lets it drop.]
I don't know... Less frosty armor and more frosty boxers. Really? Isn't that a little on point?
I have nothing to say about your current state of dress. Just your taste. Icy and beach motifs both seem a bit... too on the nose or too snarky. But that's definitely not my place to say.
[Bobby gets to his feet and stretches a bit, his shorts slipping a little lower. He doesn't notice that but he does see David looking for his clothes. He points towards where they're folded on his desk.]
So uh...
[He shifts from foot to foot a bit awkwardly.]
About some of what you said last night...if you wanna hang out or talk more I'm cool with it.
I can't speak to the former but... I guess the latter isn't very wrong.
[And he's definitely not looking at Bobby again after he says that. What? It's an awkward admission. And that stretch showing off so much skin, probably unintentionally, doesn't help. He does move for his clothes and starts immediately by pulling on his pants.]
What all did I say last night? I was an embarrassment to myself, wasn't I? But after getting rescued by you, it's probably not something I should say no to. I owe you.
[Bobby blushes a little but still smiles. Showing off skin was unintentional but the pose he strikes to show off a little is entirely on purpose.]
You said you were worried about people thinking you're boring and predictable...
[He shrugs.]
I don't think it and if you want to try to figure out some ways to give that impression off less, I'm game. Don't have to worry about setting an example or anything around me.
I think salvaging a reputation when someone has probably helped you undress and let you sleep in his bed isn't possible. So I'm obligated to take you in as a coconspirator in this.
[But he's got his clothes on now and he offers a brief smile to Bobby. And catches the pose. Which has him quietly looking away again. Listen, he's still coming to terms with his own sexuality and being this close to someone like Bobby is definitely putting that a bit more forward in his brain.]
To be fair I just took your shoes and pants off so you'd be comfortable. Not much damage to your rep.
[Bobby's not a phased by his own state of undress. He's used to running around in public in tiny shorts or briefs as his only clothes. When he finishes his little pose, Bobby looks around for a clean pair of pants for himself.]
You remember? Sure! I can set the rink up today if you're still up for it. Shouldn't take me long to work my magic.
I used to love it as a kid. Would go to rinks when my parents let me. Dad wanted me to play hockey. I more thought figure skating. I grew too big for that quickly.
[Mischief. Uh oh. That was never good in this place.]
That may not be the best plan, but after last night I am listening.
You still could figure skate? I think you could definitely rock one of those sequin-filled outfits.
[Pulling on some lounge pants, Bobby hops towards his window.]
Well, I make a quick fireman pole or a slide from my window to the ground. You have a sneaky-fun way out and then the ice goes away and no one knows you were here so only half a walk of shame.
You are showing me a move or two when we hit the ice.
[He gives a snort, opening his window.]
This is about your rep, not mine. Mine is pre-doomed, remember?
[He looks outside and cracks his knuckles before letting loose with the frozen beams. Soon enough there's a spiral slide right from the window down to the grass.]
Figured you wouldn't want to be seen wandering out of my room since it wouldn't set a good example or anything.
You'll have so much trouble resisting me if you see how flexible I am.
[That earns a smirk from David because, well, that's just what he is and what he does. But he hardly thinks Bobby's reputation is doomed. He laughs.]
Given how early it is, it's entirely likely that the gates aren't open yet. And if they aren't and I'm on campus, people will know I was with someone overnight. I just don't think I want them assuming it's you. My chance to set a good example is already gone.
[He smiles and offers a brief wave to Bobby. Then he's clambering out of the window.]

Like there's no one here that knows how to sneak in and out.

Sure, I'll meet you down by the boathouse? I should have everything ready by then.
