nobody can ever fully understand someone else but i still think there's coping strategies that you can learn and apply to your own situation.

I've learned a lot of coping strategies. Some days they help.

The point of coming over to sleep near you is sorta defeated if I arrive at your door just as you're heading out for classes.

and b) i have classes at different times so i don't always have to get up for 8 am

My species, at one point, was cut down to less than two-hundred individuals. Yeah, we're REALLY paranoid about security.

But it's fine, you can talk to me about anything. Your phone, whether you realize it or not, is far more encrypted than most smart phones. Only to keep people from accessing it remotely, and to prevent forced pairings. But I can't stop people picking it up.

You're welcome to use your laptop to chat. It's more I want our conversations to be private. Your friends aren't likely to be analyzing every bit of thing you message them on a computer.

i've seen a giant wall erected in the middle of town because people thought all the kids were gonna get abducted. then they made us leave because they found out most kids are abducted by family members. i lived with a group of mongols for a few days

No where in this country should have mongol hordes. Giant mechs were... far more common. And worrying. I flinch when I see giant robots.
