[David takes some time setting up. Towels out to lay on, an umbrella up for Kyle to sit under, and of course he took out the pot of Krakoan sun screen. Only then did he strip down.]

Want help getting this sunscreen on you?

[Something he asked because David was trying not to think about some of the scars that should be on his body and weren't. he was more aware of that in public]

[Kyle moves so David can get his back. He can't help but be a little tense, because there's naked people. And most of them are men.]

...I think this might be a gay area.

Or it's not a gay area and they all came here in hopes of naked women.

[David takes it all in stride, but only because he knows being calm will help Kyle be calmer. He scoops some cream onto his hands and then moves to massage it into Kyle's skin.]

[He relaxes a little under David's hands.]

[He shifts so he can give David a hug.]

[He cackles.] I'm Polish, what did you expect?

[He kisses Kyle's shoulder.]

[He smiles and turns to hug David.]

I think you're just blinded by my charms.

[David snorts in amusement. Blinded? Hardly.]

[Kyle sighs and swoons.]

[He smiles and pushes Kyle away a little.]

Start working the sunscreen into your legs.

[He sticks his tongue out but does as instructed.]

It's so weird not to be freezing this time of year. It's cool.

[David rolls his eyes.]

Of course I'm happy here. I'm with you.

[He smacks David's shoulder lightly, smiling.]

Don't roll your eyes at me. It's a fair question! Things haven't exactly been smooth sailing.

No, it hasn't. But being willing to sail on anyway is what matters, right?

[David nuzzles in against his neck]

[He relaxes back onto his beach towel.]

[David lays down beside Kyle with a smile. He looks so beautiful.]

I want to be special for you. So that I'm managing it makes me happy.

[Kyle stretches, unaware that David is enjoying how he looks.] David, you were special long before you met me.

[He looks up, smiling.] So! What else you wanna do on vacation? Sleep in? Make a bunch of waffles? Go hiking?

Perhaps, but it's being with you that makes me feel most special.

But sleeping in is a serious idea. And cooking for you. But you know you get to pick some too.
