A lot happened while I was away. And not just getting a new power. But of course, this is me. So it's... it's complicated.

He... asked me what I'd do for my birthday if I had a choice. I told him. He rented out a whole skating rink in California and took me there. A long trip to talk and just be around each other. Then he let me just skate, watching me. Had it catered. And...

Everything I wanted, and he just gave it to me, and neither of us REALLY expected him to get into my pants over it all. That wasn't the goal.

Yes, and no. I may have a few places I'm still healing.

[Listen, talons are fucking SHARP and sometimes Damian forgets himself and grips a little too hard. Which meant David has some still healing punctures from one of their evenings in LA. Luckily Damian had helped him treat the thing, seeing as the guy could just borrow David's medical knowledge.]

We're... working on the full control thing. But I think that explains the dark version of him that attacked me. Fear of that part of himself that is more instinct than anything.

he mulls over how to say what he wants to say. it's - not like he ever talked about his relationship with rahne with david. because that had basically almost ended their friendship. but it was years ago, and it's relevant. ]

... Rahne was like that. She'd get overwhelmed and the wolf'd take over. [ which ] Not - like, not in a sex way but when we were on the X-Force. She mauled me when I healed her a few times.

I, uh... Like some of what he does. Losing the ones he meant to leave would be disappointing.

[But yeah, Josh absolutely has SOMETHING of experience with it. Which is comforting.]

I've let him use my suppressor some, to facilitate. But there's a comfort thing, it's not as easy for him when he isn't in control of it himself. But I don't regret this.

And if you try and give him a shovel talk, I'm going to hit you.
