Yes. In fact, I feel it's even MORE important to try. I feel honor bound actually.

Here's a hard truth for a hard truth. I had a chance to stop a very bad guy who was hurting, killing, people around him. And was too foolish not only to take it, but to realize that he was only hurting himself. I can't stand by and run the risk of doing that again, not when there is a chance I can help.

I'm a half humam. I was born human, but I was turned into something else.

There is nothing I can eat anymore. They say it's because ghouls don't have enzymes to digest normal food, and so that makes us very sick, just like poison.

Lack the enzymes huh? That's a different approach to take to it as well. But if it's going to make you sick, like poison, then we're going to have to be more careful about a lot of this.

If it's alright with you, there's someone that might be really important to bring in on this. A friend of mine named Josh. If I can't do this with tech, he might be able to do it.

Granted if you somehow were able to get your hands on him and hurt him, I'll destroy you. But you don't want to hurt people, so we should be fine.

[ Kaneki doesn't want to hurt anyone and... well, he doesn't want to be killed. Living with a human is not something he should be doing, and he knows that; it's risky and dangerous. This was a good wake up call to that as well. ]

Yeah, it sounded like you were suggesting that you we wouldn't see each other at the farm. Which is silly, because you live there.

I went there because it was a Guild accommodation and I did not have enough money to rent a house without the Guild.

[ also because no one from the Alliance told Kaneki what he can and can not do as a ghoul, so he is just doing everything that seems to be acceptable with the Guild, trying to do everything right. Kaneki doesn't know what sort of life he is allowed to have here; in his world, he would not be allowed to live at all if anyone knew he is a ghoul, but here they just let him walk on his own - which is nice!, but also really scary because he has no clue what they are thinking and he fears he might do something wrong and they will just decide to kill him after all. ]
