I went there because it was a Guild accommodation and I did not have enough money to rent a house without the Guild.

[ also because no one from the Alliance told Kaneki what he can and can not do as a ghoul, so he is just doing everything that seems to be acceptable with the Guild, trying to do everything right. Kaneki doesn't know what sort of life he is allowed to have here; in his world, he would not be allowed to live at all if anyone knew he is a ghoul, but here they just let him walk on his own - which is nice!, but also really scary because he has no clue what they are thinking and he fears he might do something wrong and they will just decide to kill him after all. ]

Might take time to save up for your own place. Hopefully your job, whatever you've taken, will help you with that.

That's a good thing to hear. Taking care of yourself matters. I'll start looking at my current suppressor tech and getting it brushed up. We'll start with seeing if that will work.

[ he really is kind... for someone who threatened to destroy Kaneki. he doesn't hold it against the other for saying that, but so many people have tried to hurt and kill kaneki that... well, that sort of thing gets to him ]

No problem. Hopefully this will be a simple solution. But I'm also not expecting that. And testing a lot more dangerous. I don't like suggesting you try even the smallest bit of other food to test it, so I'll have to think of something else.
