Nope. It's just uncommon for a complex spread of reasons.

I don't know. I've never known someone before here who only had one name.

I attempted "N/A" but a librarian addressed me as "Mr. Na" this morning.

That is almost funny. I'm not sure how to fix that. I think there is a lawyer that helps out unregistered arrivals.

Could go with your mother's maiden name I guess. Or just something you like the sound of. Or something unremarkable.

Being addressed as "Mr" was strange enough but I don't think I care for "Na."

Yeah. I mostly tried to stay out of it. Which of course meant the people that I knew and would worry about threw themselves head first into the mess.

But that's just life sometimes.

I'm not suited to giant robots. I'd have had issues with the way everything would mess with my powers.

It is entirely possible to fight monsters without the use of giant robots.

Not for most people. Most of us don't have massive swords and hit like a truck.
