Yeah. I mostly tried to stay out of it. Which of course meant the people that I knew and would worry about threw themselves head first into the mess.

But that's just life sometimes.

I'm not suited to giant robots. I'd have had issues with the way everything would mess with my powers.

It is entirely possible to fight monsters without the use of giant robots.

Not for most people. Most of us don't have massive swords and hit like a truck.

I more need sword training than a sword, I've found. All that gained skill from others doesn't mean I'm practiced enough at it to be as competent as I'd like.
