Timeline (Subject to Change)
13/1/20 19:43 (UTC)- David Alleyne, 17 years old and just out of Limbo and the awkwardness of dying horridly and having his best friend regrow his heart, arrives. Comes in with something so close to his recently lost mutant powers that he actually almost cries in relief. He strangely does NOT come in with all his old knowledges the Cuckoos unlocked for him.
- Starts going to high school among 'normal' people but they don't judge him for his powers and his powers can't easily be used to cheat so he realizes he really CAN just be very smart and driven. Proves to himself that he really is a genius.
- Instead of getting too much into heroics he instead rededicates himself to school and his old hobby, making himself into a competitive figure skater, and he LOVES it.
- Connects with and gets along with other mutants present. Everything seems to be coming up David and he's living a damn happy life.
2014
- Shit hits the fan. The take over by metahumans. David doesn't really feel comfortable with this and starts considering the whispers of rebel movement.
- Shortly after this happens David canon-updates to Utopia. And he's ANGRY over how mutants got treated, but also from his new psychometric powers. Instead of being an idealist, he comes back and everything he TOUCHES tells the story about how people don't want to work together.
- Starts working with resistance movements even harder, uses his combined powers to gather intel and prepare things, but his powers are slowly eating away at him with the negativity and loss.
c. 2016-2017
- David canon-updates again, no new powers, to post-Utopia. This time he FINALLY brings with him the full eidetic knowledge of everything he ever absorbed back home. And it leads to his final break with the resistance. He sees them as no better than Scott Summers using children as warriors. Seems them no better than the government in charge. Clearly the only real choice is to be on his own, live for himself.
- Ends up briefly in a sexual relationship with his best friend Josh, and while he still agrees to work with him some, David mostly stays separate from Josh and Laurie's work.
- Ends up developing a more serious relationship with Damian, who he finds himself coming to love, despite it being a weakness.
- Starts working as an underground doctor to the criminal element, as well as occasionally to the resistance.
- Betrayed at Damian's hands, David is almost caught by the government. He narrowly escapes the betrayal and believes Damian to be dead. Goes full on dark side.
c. 2018-Now
- David comes to work only for the highest bidder, but refuses to work with the government. He is wanted in more than a few jurisdictions, though for a lower price. Everyone knows this price is bogusly low for a man who can read people and items histories and knowledge with a touch.
- More in control of his powers, David often works scouting locations for heists or hits, allowing him to serve as a high end intelligence broker.
- Still works as a doctor to those that can't go to public facilities. But only if they pay him well.
- David has become very VERY wealthy and has a plethora of safe houses that he frequently moves between.
- Still stays in contact with Laurie and David, mostly because he DOES intend to break them out of places if they get themselves in trouble. He just doesn't see the point to what they are doing. It's fruitless. It has always been and always will be fruitless.
