It's the definition of a super hero. Which is what you're pretending to be.

You can't just call someone a pretend superhero when they haven't yet sacrificed themselves for the world.

[He says dismissively and eats his pizza.]

[He stands up, hands balled into fists at his sides and abruptly irrationally angry.]

[Fine. David gives Beck a bland look.]

Manipulated you? Right. You didn't offer to help - not for my benefit, but because you wanted to somehow stop me from doing something to your real friends. To Peter.

[He does move for the door.]

[He pauses when he gets to the door, looking to the guy.]

Were you even in Jeopardy? If I touched your suit, would I find you were there fighting? Or would you have proved to have been just as much of a coward.

[He looks offended again.]

Of course I was there. Just because I didn't get video footage and you didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

[But if David insists, he won't let him touch anything to confirm.]

No. Look, it's locked away and I think at some point you have to give me some benefit of the doubt and trust my word. If you can't do that then...

[He makes a gesture toward the door.]

[His eyes narrow dangerously.]

You need to stop assuming and stop insulting me, David.

You want me to be better, then complain that I didn't boast to others about my accomplishments after such a hard worn fight by everybody?
