Second, what would be the dates, and anything you can give me about dietary habits and the like I need to be aware of?

Oh, well, I'm going to Thailand with Kang for about a week and a half and can't take him along. [She's not particularly happy about leaving him again so soon.]

His diet is pretty simple. Just some raw chicken or fish and non-citrus fruits. He'll also eat bugs.

[A pause before she remembers] Oh, and don't let him outside on his own. He likes to hunt the birds.

Oh, that's fair. I'm happy to take care of that. And I'll definitely keep him inside. Do you have a leash for him?

Oh, no. Nonono. We tried the leash thing once and he was very unhappy about that. Granted, he was a wild creature before I ended up with him.

He'll probably stick close to you indoors or out. Unless he's found somewhere warm to sleep or does set his sight on a bird. But it being winter he's more likely stick close to a warm body.

I got him a catbed, not that he uses it. [Sir Apple likes to sleep with Kenzi.]

I had some toys for him but then there was the whole 'ported out for four years thing so...

[Well, that will be interesting. Not like his not-boyfriend used David's bed for sleeping in though. It would be fine.]

[He's a lizard and needs that warmth and Kenzi being the only warm body around means sharing.

She silent for a few moments as she thinks it over.] Not that I ca-- Oh! Keep an eye on him when you're eating. He can and will steal your food.

He'll be bored by my salads.

[That would be the smart thing to do, yeah. But Kenzi doesn't mind cuddling up with the dragon at night. She likes the company.]

Anyway, I'll prob bring him by on the night before I leave. If that's okay.

Though I would appreciate if you fed him before you did. I'm doing my whole Thanksgiving for imPorts thing and I'll have been up since about three or four that day.

Yeesh. That makes me not miss having friends in this world. [She's done her own Thanksgivings (and other events) before so she knows the exhaustion.]

But yeah, he usually gets his last meal of the evening when I do so you won't have to worry about it. [It's only fair that they eat at the same time.]

I want people to enjoy the holiday. Especially after all we went through.
