Robin. My Robin. I mean, I think we're from different times, but it's definitely the guy from my Earth. I can't believe he's actually here.

In the ever-suspicious flesh. Still working out some of the timeline snarls, which is trickier because I hadn't seen him all that often back home before, well, everything.

It's the protective kind. But seriously, I want this to go well. So when you go digging, try not to let it blow up in my face. Robin is willing to meet Prodigy, my friend the technopath, and hopefully that will open doors for more sharing.

Alright. I can agree to that. But if you're meeting Prodigy, that means I have to have the helmet on. He going to be cool with that and the voice changer?

[David hadn't been kidding about trying to have more of a divide between his lives now. Still, now that his costume is ironed out, maybe he could cook on Bart's streams as a friend. Unless it's hero related, then he can do it as Prodigy]

Those who hide behind masks and aliases don't get to complain. He'll try to figure things out, and he did unmask some of the biggest secrets back home, but I'll do what I can.

At the least, I can try to make the time between when you meet and when he takes the mask off shorter than he did with me. But I'm not smart enough to tell a pair of geniuses how to handle this sitch.

I mean, that's not a bad point I guess. I just don't know him yet, and while I'd trust Kon if he showed up, I don't know this Robin guy.

Though that unmasking could get him into more trouble here, I think. I don't think the guilds would like that too much. Still, for you I'll do this, Bart. Doesn't mean I won't figure out who he is, given time. I just don't care to unmask people, it's trouble.

I know you will be able to figure it out. But I don't think he'd go public with the knowledge any more than you would. That's only for people who are truly a danger, and only as a last resort.

I wish Kon were here, too. But he does know things that only the two of us were privy to, and I've seen him outside the uniform. I know R, and I don't want him creating a whole new fake identity to be my best friend. At least Mister Sarcastic was just for the film crew.



So what's your schedule like? I should probably give him a little time to get the lay of the land and let you set up your end of things.

I don't out people, Bart. In any sense of the term. That's not how mutants work. Most of the time.

Adaptech is pretty flexible hours. I can adapt for him as needed. You let me know if you want it in person or not. If it is, I guess you can officially see the current iteration of the Prodigy costume. Not making something more involved until I'm fully aware on how I'm complimenting others.
