He sounds like when my father was touched by the occuria. Same grandiose behavior. Same promises of rewriting the rules of time.
I don't know what the equivalent would be here, but they were powerful and manipulative creatures who were invisible and filled his head with madness.
It got worse with time. I don't like this.
